For the first time, Pedro Pascal’s iconic bounty hunter Din Djarin and his fan-favorite companion Grogu are coming to theaters in The Mandalorian & Grogu. Jon Favreau directed the film, expanding on the galaxy-spanning adventure that first won over audiences in The Mandalorian. Ahead of the release, Pascal revealed to Tequila Tilly from The Chris Evans Breakfast Show what being cast in the Star Wars franchise really means to him.

“It's a wish granted to put it mildly. Star Wars, for me, is the earliest cinema experience that I ever had. And so my childhood is shaped by these big-screen experiences. And there isn't anything bigger than Star Wars, I think. And so I think that's what made it so special when it became a live-action streaming experience,” he said, during the interview.

Pascal also said that advancing the story in the big-screen medium felt like the next logical step. He talked about Favreau’s interest in George Lucas, Star Wars, and movie-making. He further said that the adaptation will give the audience an epic cinematic experience that has been made for the big screen.
