The documentary is set to premiere exclusively in theatres on April 22, 2026, with major chains like Cinemark Theatres already listing showtimes, making the big screen the first place to experience American YoungBoy’s story. Running for 1 hour and 15 minutes, the film dives into the “MASA Tour” (Make America Slime Again), bringing together 42 sold-out arena performances with behind-the-scenes glimpses of life on the road and more personal moments off-stage.
As of now, the documentary is being marketed as “Only in Theatres,” with no official streaming or digital release date announced. While a digital rollout is in the works by Foundation Media Partners and 38 Films, it remains unconfirmed whether the film will arrive on Netflix or any other platform.
Led by NBA YoungBoy himself, the film places the artist at the centre of its narrative, offering a raw and intimate look into his journey. Directed by Nico Ballesteros, known for In Whose Name, the project has also drawn praise from Foundation Media Partners’ CEO, Patrick Hughes, who described him as not just an artist but a cultural force. However, adding to this momentum, the rapper has also recently dropped ‘Creep Up on Ya,’ with a new album already on the horizon.
“NBA YoungBoy is not just an artist — he’s a cultural force,” Patrick Hughes told Variety.
While the documentary brings it to screen in 2026, the story it tells was written on stage during his massive 2025 tour run, further cementing his place as one of the biggest touring forces, with reports placing him among the top global tours and averaging around $1.6 million per city.
