Amidst Jada Pinkett Smith's revelations about her marriage to Will Smith, SNL makes their own GI Jane joke at the couple's expense.

Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith, and a GI Jane Joke, SNL’s Famous Weekend Update Had It All on the Star-Studded Night

Who can ever forget the GI Jane joke that ended up getting Chris Rock slapped?
The incident shook the entire world back then and most have still not gotten
over it. Though Will Smith [https://www.netflixjunkie.com/tag/will-smith/] was
not too pleased about the entire Academy Awards incident, even for Jada Pinkett
Smith [https://www.netflixjunkie.com/tag/jada-pinkett-smith/], it was
unimaginable. However, two years after the Slapgate, a joke has been made yet
again about the actress.

With all of Jada’s surprising revelations recently, it looks like the SNL cast
could not keep Will Smith’s “wife’s name out” of their mouths. In fact, they had
their audience in hysterics over a joke of their own.

SNL POKES FUN AT WILL SMITH AND JADA PINKETT SMITH

SNL made its big comeback on Saturday. However, it was the comedy show’s joke on
Will and Jada that floored everyone. During the Weekend Update segment with
Colin Jost and Michael Che, the duo poked fun at the couple in light of
everything that was already coming out. They gave fans the already-known
revelation that the couple at been separated since 2016, but claimed the reason
behind it was that the Emancipation star had suggested that “she should star in
GI Jane 2.“

The joke had the entire audience cracking up, which was not surprising. The
comedy show has already stolen hearts, but this episode had viewers falling more
in love with it. From hilarious jokes to an appearance from Taylor Swift and her
latest muse, Travis Kelce,

the night was filled with laughter and surprises. However, even with the fun,
Will and Jada Smith were still at the back of everyone’s minds.

While the world seems to be tired of Jada Pinkett’s revelations, the Matrix star
seems nowhere close to stopping. From claims about Chris Rock to even saying
that there could be a divorce in the couple’s future, she has stunned the world.

JADA PINKETT SMITH’S REVELATIONS ABOUT HER MARRIAGE TO WILL SMITH

Mere days ago, the world got a startling revelation. 2 years after one of the
biggest Oscar moments in history, Jada Pinkett Smith decided to come forward
with her version of the story. In an interview with Hoda Kotb about her upcoming
memoir, Worthy, the former Red Table Talk host revealed that she and her
husband, Will Smith, had been separated for 7 years now. However, that was only
one of the revelations she made.

While that was enough to shock the world, she did not stop there. From claiming
there was a reason behind the Oscar incident, to talking about her “soulmate
friendship” with Tupac Shakur, she laid it all on the table. In fact, she even
claimed that Chris Rock had once asked her out, but the Grown Ups star had his
own comeback

to that. With the memoir yet to come out on 17th October, she might have more
revelations to startle the world for the better or for the worse.
