Will Smith and Margot Robbie’s Infamous Film Can Finally Get a Director’s Cut, Confident Claims Made

Back in 2016, the world got to see Margot Robbie and Will Smith

ended up being a full-blown hit, there have been a few unfulfilled promises of a
director’s cut of the David Ayer movie. With the universe having been taken over
by James Gunn, talks of the longer version ended up disappearing. Although now
it looks like the director is still clinging on to hope that it might just come
out.

While fans gave up hope long before the reboot plans came into motion, Ayer
stood steadfast, hoping the cut could someday become a reality.


DAVID AYER CLAIMS HIS SUICIDE SQUAD CUT IS “COMING”

According to reports from Games Radar

David Ayer ended up making some rather bold and confident claims about a
director’s cut for Suicide Squad in a recent interview with Total Film. He said
that he believes that his cut will someday be released. However, he is uncertain
about when. He told the publication that he thinks, “It’s coming. Something’s
going to happen. Something’s going to be revealed.”



While he might be the only one left who is hopeful, he also claimed that there
were “a lot of people” who “don’t want it to see the light of day.” Although he
did not drop names, he also said that holding the cut back would be
disappointing for the actors as they “had this great work they’d done taken
away.” However, there is no saying how this could end up playing out, as James
Gunn has not mentioned anything about it so far.
