It is officially that time of year when the biggest names in fashion, entertainment, and business come together in one place to celebrate. The Met Gala 2026 is just a few hours away, and there are already plenty of whispers about how celebrity guests will raise the bar this year around the theme, Fashion Is Art. Expect a Renaissance-inspired fashion or perhaps something more personal and artistic to take the spotlight. 

While the outfits will remain a mystery until the big day, as they do every year, there is finally some light on who will be walking the iconic steps at one of the biggest events of the year.

Apart from Met Gala chair Anna Wintour, the co-chairs of the Met Gala 2026 are also set to attend the event, including Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, and Venus Williams. This will be Queen Bey’s first Met Gala appearance in nearly a decade, following her last appearance at the Manus x Machina gala in 2016. Meanwhile, Kidman and Williams have both made several appearances over the years after their respective debuts in 2003 and 2008.

The event also has a host committee, which will also walk the steps at the Met Gala. This year, the host committee, including Aimee Mullins, A’ja Wilson, Alex Consani, Amy Sherald, Angela Bassett, Anna Weyant, Anthony Vaccarello, Chase Sui Wonders, Chloe Malle, Doja Cat, Elizabeth Debicki, Gwendoline Christie, Jeff Bezos, Lauren Sánchez, Lauren Wasser, Lena Dunham, LISA, Misty Copeland, Paloma Elsesser, Rebecca Hall, Sabrina Carpenter, Sam Smith, Sinéad Burke, Teyana Taylor, Tschabalala Self, Yseult, and Zoë Kravitz, will be present for the event. 

As for the red carpet correspondents and livestream hosts, Emma Chamberlain and La La Anthony are returning to helm the duties. While Chamberlain served as a special red carpet correspondent and co-host for Vogue’s livestream, Anthony hosted the livestream last year. Cara Delevingne and Ashley Graham will also join the event.

With these celebrity guests confirmed to show their glam and walk the red carpet, there are also some intriguing rumored names in the lineup.

PinkPantheress is one of the names making the rounds as a potential attendee at the Met Gala this year, which could be her debut appearance. Bad Bunny, who has previously appeared at the event multiple times, could also return this year. Rihanna, Robert Pattinson, Rosé, Serena Williams, Timothée Chalamet, Rosalía, Sydney Sweeney, SZA, Sarah Jessica Parker, Tate McRae, Vittoria Ceretti, Rita Ora, and Zoe Saldaña are also rumored to be part of the event.

Like every year, the Met Gala will take place on the first Monday in May. While the event itself remains strictly under wraps, the red carpet glam will once again be open to the public. The fashion’s biggest night will be streamed live across Vogue’s digital platforms, as well as on YouTube and TikTok.
