Luciana Pedraza, Duvall after her marriage, is an actor and director from Argentina. While she was born in Salta, Luciana grew up in Jujuy. She is known for her roles in Assassination Tango, where she was also joined by her husband, Robert Duvall. Wild Horses and This Is Your Life are among the films in her résumé, and she also directed and starred in Portrait of Billy Joe. 

Apart from her film career, she is also deeply involved in charity work, contributing to the Robert Duvall Institute Inc., founded by her and Duvall. The organization was created to support the education and health needs of children in Argentina.

Argentina is also the first place where the two met, and their love blossomed. Duvall revealed in an interview with Esquire that he met his wife at a bakery in Buenos Aires. The two even share the same birthday, along with a deep love for films and tango.

As Duvall shared in an interview with The Daily Beast, Luciana Pedraza was his biggest supporter and helped him stay active even during the last few years of his career. She remained by his side until his final days, and after his passing, she wrote a heartfelt post to pay tribute to him.

After Robert Duvall’s sudden passing on February 15, 2026, his wife Luciana Pedraza took to social media to share the heartbreaking news. Along with it, she shared a few warm words remembering the legend.

“To the world, he was an Academy Award-winning actor, a director, a storyteller. To me, he was simply everything," she wrote in the caption of a photo of her posing with Duvall. 

"His passion for his craft was matched only by his deep love for characters, a great meal, and holding court," she added.

Pedraza and Duvall had been together for more than two decades. After dating for several years, the two tied the knot in 2005 and remained together until the legend’s passing. His passing was not only a huge loss for his friends and family, but also for Hollywood and the countless fans who admired his work.
