It has been more than five years since WandaVision first took fans to Westview. Since then, the pieces of that world have gone on their own journeys, with some landing in Agatha All Along and others preparing for VisionQuest. The latter is set to hit the screens soon, but the name might be misleading because Vision is not coming alone.

Alongside Paul Bettany, a crowd of familiar voices and one very infamous villain are returning, and here is who plays whom.

James Spader: James Spader returns as Ultron, his first time playing the villain since Avengers: Age of Ultron in 2015. Ultron appears as a robot and, somewhat unnervingly, in human form inside Vision's mind. Spader has described the pair's bond as a mix of father, son, therapist, and psychopath, which is a lot of roles for one conversation.

Ruaridh Mollica: Ruaridh Mollica plays the grown-up Tommy Maximoff, the speedster son Wanda and Vision welcomed in WandaVision, who also goes by Thomas Shepherd. According to reports, Tommy grew up an orphan on the streets of London, picking pockets to get by. Mollica is the show's link to the Maximoff family story, and he has to carry a very large emotional inheritance while moving very fast.

Lauren Morais: Lauren Morais plays Lisa Molinari, a character closely connected to Tommy. Fans of the comics will know her as Coat of Arms, though the show has not said how much of that will carry over.

Todd Stashwick: Todd Stashwick plays Paladin, a morally ambiguous mercenary and bounty hunter tracking Vision. He is the kind of character who shows up when things are about to get complicated, and he does not bring a casserole. Diane Morgan plays an associate of Paladin's, and Faran Tahir returns as Raza from the original Iron Man.

T'Nia Miller: T'Nia Miller plays Jocasta, described as cunning, powerful and driven by revenge. In the comics, Jocasta is a robot Ultron built to be his bride, which makes for a complicated family dinner.

Emily Hampshire, Orla Brady and James D'Arcy Emily Hampshire is E.D.I.T.H., Orla Brady is F.R.I.D.A.Y., and James D'Arcy is J.A.R.V.I.S., the Tony Stark AI personas Vision consults in his programming.

“F. R. I. D. A. Y. Was There” - MCU’s 'VisionQuest' Will Have a Special Connection to Heartbreaking Iron Man’s Death

While the show is yet to be witnessed by the audience, it is clear from the cast that Marvel threw in a very compelling script to get them on board.

Marvel's upcoming VisionQuest has been building its way up since Avengers: Age of Ultron. The trailer finds Vision living as a human, working in a pub and trying to build something like a normal life. Searching for new meaning, he turns to the AI personas built into his programming, including F.R.I.D.A.Y., E.D.I.T.H., J.A.R.V.I.S., and the infamous Ultron, whose voice is the hardest one to ignore.

This also has the added factor of Tommy Maximoff, who is likely to serve as the thread that connects to the events that unfolded in WandaVision. However, it still remains unclear whether VisionQuest will unite Tommy Maximoff with his brother, Billy Maximoff, who was played by Joe Locke in Agatha All Along. Audiences can watch the tale unfold on Disney+ starting October 14, 2026.
