The final season of The Boys introduced several intriguing characters, one of them being Bombsight, played by the familiar face Mason Dye. It is hard to miss the actor in Stranger Things, but for those who may not remember, he appeared as an antagonist in the fourth season of the Duffer Brothers’ hit show. And he had appeared in multiple shows before landing the role of Bombsight.
While his character was introduced in The Boys, Bombsight’s storyline will be explored further in the prequel spin-off series Vought Rising. Ahead of the upcoming Supe show, here are some of the popular series in which the actor has appeared.

Mason Dye began his career with a role in the film Adventures of Bailey: A Night in Cowtown. Since entering the industry, he has appeared in projects such as the show Flowers in the Attic, the 2016 films Natural Selection and Vanished – Left Behind: Next Generation, and the 2017 television horror film Truth or Dare. However, many fans recognize him for his roles in popular television shows such as Teen Wolf and Stranger Things.
He played Garrett in Season 4 of MTV’s Teen Wolf. Later, he appeared as Tom Galligan in the police procedural series Bosch. More recently, he starred in The Goldbergs and portrayed Jason Carver, the captain of Hawkins High School’s basketball team, in Stranger Things.
Now, the actor is set to play Bombsight in Vought Rising, after being introduced ahead of time in the final season of The Boys. Much like Soldier Boy, his character is also a World War II-era Supe. While the exact role Bombsight will play in Vought Rising remains unclear, his origins hint at the special powers that he might have.
After all, like Soldier Boy, he also received the V-One serum in the past.
What are Bombsight’s powers?
Bombsight appears to be one of the powerful Supes introduced in The Boys universe. Like many other Supes, he possesses abilities such as flight, super strength, enhanced durability, and heightened hearing. Since the character reportedly received the V-One serum because he was present during the origin of Vought, Bombsight may also possess slowed aging or even immortality, similar to Soldier Boy.

However, his powers also come with a weakness. High-frequency sounds can cause him severe pain and potentially leave him vulnerable. Now, with Vought Rising, which is set to explore the early days of the company, the series could finally reveal just how powerful the characters from the World War 2 era truly are. And that includes Bombsight and Soldier Boy.
The upcoming series is already in works. While a release date is not confirmed, the show is expected to arrive in 2027.
