Xochitl Gomez is not dating anyone in the public eye despite all the rumors, as she has not officially announced otherwise. Reports suggested that the speculation regarding her and Robert Irwin's fling was based on their Dancing With the Stars 20th anniversary episode appearance together, and not romantic ties. Irwin and Gomez performed together on the show, in which he did not dance with his usual partner, his sister, Bindi Irwin. The show later cleared up the confusion, making it clear that Irwin's relay round was with the Season 32 winner, Gomez. Their undeniable chemistry set off the fireworks of dating rumors.

The duo danced to 'Dance with Me Tonight' by Olly Murs for Robert Irwin and Alix Earle’s 20th Birthday Party Relay Jive, and viewers could not help but gush over them. Xochitl Gomez rose to fame as a queer Latina superhero with multiversal powers, America Chavez, in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Though that was her sole MCU appearance, she is highly likely to return as Chavez in Avengers: Doomsday on December 18, 2026, or perhaps on Avengers: Secret Wars on December 17, 2027. Though Marvel has sidelined several of its unique superheroes for petty reasons, Chavez can be useful for key moments in the MCU's multiversal future unfoldings. 

Gomez, who has starred in Raven's Home, You're the Worst, and The Baby-Sitters Club, will voice the role of Gabby in The Cat in the Hat alongside Bill Hader and America Ferrera, to be released on November 6, 2026. Her next major role comes in Boston Blue, arriving this November. She is also linked to the upcoming 2026 sci-fi thriller Ursa Major, which features Jessica Biel and Kid Cudi. While Xochitl Gomez's dating rumors seem like a distraction, she remains booked and busy.
