  Professionally, the couple is set to work together on Sandra Delgado’s debut feature film, The Outsider, which was announced by Brazilian production company Maria Farinha Filmes. Wagner Moura will both produce the film and appear in a minor role in the project, which is based on the life of Claudia Andujar, according to Variety.  

There has been some confusion surrounding Sandra Delgado and Wagner Moura’s relationship status. While some claim that the two are not married, the Los Angeles Times referred to Sandra Delgado as Wagner Moura’s wife in a December 2025 story. However, Delgado has referred to Wagner Moura as her 'partner' on Instagram.

Regardless of labels, what stands out is the close and supportive bond the two share. That naturally raises another question: do the couple have any children?

The couple has been together for a long time and shares three sons, who are now 19, 15, and 13. As Sandra Delgado’s website suggests, the family splits their time between Rio de Janeiro and Los Angeles. Wagner Moura has also spoken about his family during interviews. 

In a conversation with Interview, he shared his desire to be present for his children as they attend school, college, and the next stages of their lives. He has also spoken candidly about fatherhood, opening up about the challenges of working while being away from his kids and how they have been understanding about his career.

"This has been an impossible balance. I came to realize that because I’ve tried to bring them with me. I’ve tried to go back all the time. I’ve tried everything. It was very heartbreaking when I’d go back home and see they grew up. But also it’s beautiful to see their understanding of it,” he said.

Perhaps another historic event, like the Golden Globe, could bring the entire family together for a public appearance. Despite their demanding careers, both Wagner Moura and Sandra Delgado have managed to find a balance between work and family life.
