Rose Byrne’s husband, Bobby Cannavale is a household name in the indusrty having contributed some of the best works such as Ant Man, The Station Agent, The Watcher and many more. He rose to fame or his role as Bobby Caffey in the NBC series, Third Watch. Then he appeared in Will & Grace for which he won Emmy and his second win came for his performance in Boardwalk Empire.

Not just in series and films, the actor is also well known for his work in theatres, having appeared in Mauritius and Glengarry Glen Ross, earning nominations for his performances. Later, he also found the love of his life in someone who shares the same passion for movies as he does. Cannavale and Byrne met through a mutual friend in 2012, as per Vanity Fair.

Since then, the couple has been going strong. They have also worked together and shared the screen multiple times. Adult Beginners, Annie, Spy, and Martha the Monster are among their notable works, and they also portrayed an estranged couple in Medea at the Brooklyn Academy of Music.

Rose Byrne and Bobby Cannavale had their first child, Rocco Robin, in 2016. A year later, they welcomed their second son, Rafael. Cannavale is also a father to Jake from his first marriage to Jenny Lumet. 

While speaking about having three sons, Cannavale has opened up about how fatherhood has changed him and how deeply he loves them. 

"I have three sons. I would do anything for them," he told AARP The Magazine. 

While Cannavale and Byrne have been pros in balancing their personal lives and careers like a married couple, they are yet to tie the knot. The actress shares that they have been busy with work and raising their children, though marriage is something that they have thought about for a long time.

“I'm more married to him than anybody I've ever been with my whole life,” she told People. “Definitely something that we will do. We'll get around to it.”

Just as Byrne said, whether they have a marriage certificate or not, her bond with Cannavale is as wholesome as that of any married couple. For that reason, they prefer calling each other husband and wife. And until they find the right time to set a date, their focus will remain on their work, raising their kids, and spending quality family time together.
