The second season has arrived with a critical boost. MobLand Season 2 currently holds a 100% Tomatometer score from five reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, giving the crime drama a strong start before further reviews arrive. The first season finished with a 77% critics’ score.

The reviews have focused on tense storytelling, character work, and an expanding ensemble. Collider called the chapter a clear evolution for Ritchie, while Metro highlighted its eccentric characters, gripping plot, and bursts of violence. Screen Rant described it as a promising step toward the crime dramas that helped define the genre. These are early assessments, and the score can change as reviews arrive.

The timing also extends Ritchie’s crime run. The Gentlemen Season 2 premiered on Netflix on September 3 and currently sits at 84% from 25 critics on Rotten Tomatoes. MobLand Season 2 premiered on September 18 with 10 episodes, arriving weekly through November 20. Ophelia Lovibond also joins Johnny Flynn as a new series regular.
