Just a few months ago, The Blind Side actor Quinton Aaron was celebrating a personal transformation of weight loss, and now he is facing a serious health battle. He was rushed to the hospital in Atlanta after collapsing in his home due to neck pain. 

Through this tough time, one person has not moved from his side, and that is his wife, Margarita Aaron. And her quiet strength, which has always supported the actor, is worth knowing.

 Margarita Aaron is a makeup artist and has been a major source of support in the actor’s life since the two got married in 2024. In an interview with FOX, he shared that his wife, has been his biggest motivation throughout his weight loss journey. He even revealed that he reduced his weight from 575 pounds to 375 pounds and proudly shared the update with his followers on social media. Despite the notable progress, the actor is currently critical.

"I did at least get a thumbs up out of him when I chatted with him, which was promising." Margarita Aaron told Fox News Digital.

It has been reported that the actor is currently battling a blood infection and is undergoing tests to identify the exact cause. Despite the tumultuous situation, Margarita Aaron has told Fox News that she firmly believes he is a strong fighter who will overcome this health hurdle. 

"He's a fighter; he's a very strong fighter, and you know, he is making progress day by day, and I believe God's got him, and he believes God's got him," she said.

She added that doctors are conducting further tests, including MRIs, to determine the cause soon. A GoFundMe initiative has also been started for the actor during this tough time.

This health scare is especially shocking given the actor’s recent commitment to improving his lifestyle after an accident.

Quinton Aron spoke about a life-changing incident

Earlier in an interview, Quinton Aaron told Fox News Digital that a serious medical emergency pushed him to completely change his lifestyle. Aaron recalled that the incident happened around 2021, well after he had worked on the hit, The Blind Side, during while he was sitting near the waterfront in Mandeville, Louisiana. He said he suddenly lost consciousness and woke up underwater after falling about 12 feet off a wall into water that was only three feet deep.

Aaron managed to get to his feet, struggled against the water, and eventually climbed out. He was taken to a local hospital, where doctors performed a full-body evaluation and found that an infection in one of his toes had spread to the bone. He later learned that the fall may have been caused by diabetic ketoacidosis, a serious complication linked to extremely high blood sugar.

That incident saw him focus on his health more than ever. So, Margarita Aaron is indeed right about the actor being a true fighter in real life. And fans’ wishes are present for Aaron to make a full and speedy recovery.
