Juliano Valdi, also known as Juliano Krue Valdi, is a rising American child actor who is set to portray young Michael Jackson in Michael (2026 film). His casting was officially announced in January 2024 alongside Jaafar Jackson, who plays the older version of Jackson in the film. Far from being an unknown newcomer, Valdi had already attracted online attention through Michael Jackson-inspired dance performances, signature costumes, and a viral appearance in Times Square that helped him gain over 150,000 Instagram followers in 2023.
Although still very young, Valdi has already started building an acting resume beyond the upcoming biopic. He has been linked with projects including The Loud House, and Arco, showing that his career is already expanding before his biggest release arrives. Meanwhile, reacting to the opportunity back in 2024, Valdi called the role deeply meaningful, saying he had danced to Jackson’s music for years and admired the unmatched energy of the King of Pop.
"This opportunity is really important to me because Michael Jackson is the King of Pop, and he is very special in my heart. I’ve been dancing to his songs for five years now. He makes me feel really special and makes me feel good about myself. I love the energy of Michael Jackson." Valdi announced in a press statement released by Lionsgate on January 18, 2024.
Counting down as one of the most feverishly awaited releases of the year, Michael is set to hit screens this week, bringing audiences a chance to relive the legendary era of Michael Jackson.
