Jude Mack is a British actor, writer, and director. The actor completed their training at the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art, earning an MFA in Professional Acting in 2021. The actor also holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Bristol.

Mack has also performed in stage productions such as Much Ado About Nothing and Women Beware Women and later transitioned to acting on screen. As per their IMDb profile, the actor has previously appeared in Such Brave Girls, Prime Target, Back in Action, I Hate Suzie, The Man Who Fell to Earth, and Waiting for the Out. Mack has also reportedly co-created and starred in the comedy pilot Amicable.

So, the actor has been balancing both their writing and acting careers. Now, Mack has gained much attention for playing goalie Katie Quinn, better known as Boots, in Ted Lasso Season 4. However, playing the fearless, gloveless goalkeeper is not as effortless as Mack makes it appear on screen.

Jude Mack appears as one of the fierce Lady Greyhounds, goalie Katie Quinn, in Ted Lasso Season 4. As many fans know, one of the character’s traits is that she does not wear gloves to show her toughness on the field. In a conversation with Decider, Mack opened up about playing the character on the field.

“I think most of my acting in this show is me trying not to scream and flinch when those pro footballers were kicking the ball at like 90 mph at the goal. And I have to be like, ‘I don’t fear the ball!’ It was crazy,” she said. 

While such scenes are tough to portray on screen, Mack was thrilled about playing the role in the show. Now, the role will reportedly become more interesting as the season progresses. Ted Lasso Season 4 is currently streaming on Apple TV.
