Jeffrey Donovan, best known for his role as the burned and marooned spy, Michael Westen, in the hit series Burn Notice, now voices Machine Head in Invincible on Amazon Prime Video. Through his extensive work in television shows such as Shut Eye, Fargo, CSI: Miami, Witchblade, Spin City, Monk, The Pretender, Millennium, Homicide: Life on the Street, Law & Order, and his performances in movies like Bait, Sleepers, Sicario, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, Donovan has developed a thriving career in both television and film. 

However, the present generation recognizes Donovan for his cool, distorted voice artistry in the animated superhero series, rich in emotiove character-driven plots and mind-blowing action scenes. In the Prime Video animated series, Donovan brings to life the criminal organization leader who speaks with a mechanical tone and is a master of strategic thinking. The character employs supervillains and almost succeeds in ruining the main character during one of the show’s essential fights.

Prior to playing the criminal mastermind, Donovan lent his voice to Steve Trevor in Wonder Woman: Bloodlines. Bringing his seasoned voice skills to the superhero animation, the actor adds rich layers of surprise to Machine Head, which is a soft mix of DC's Lex Luthor and Marvel's Kingpin. Following three successful seasons in a competitive superhero world of Marvel and DC, much of the cast reprises their roles with brilliant new additions.

Invincible season 4 recruits industry heavyweights like Steven Yeun as Mark Grayson/Invincible, J.K. Simmons as Nolan Grayson/Omni-Man, Sandra Oh as Debbie Grayson, Gillian Jacobs as Samantha Eve Wilkins/Atom Eve, Jason Mantzoukas as Rex Splode, Seth Rogen as Allen, the Alien, Walton Goggins as Cecil Stedman, alongside Jeffrey Donovan's Machine Head. The first three episodes of Invincible season 4 are currently streaming on Amazon Prime since March 18, 2026.
