Origin of Damien Darkblood’s mysterious powers in Invincible season 4

Damien Darkblood is a demon from hell. He worked for the Global Defense Agency. And in episode 1 of the series, he is seen investigating the murder of the Guardians of the Globe, before being sent back to Hell by Cecil Stedman.

Darkblood has a unique set that blends detective work and powers. As a demon, he has the magical ability to sense hidden truths and track down clues that remain invisible to others. One of his most eerie traits is teleportation. He also possesses psychometry, allowing him to read objects or bodies and witness fragments of past events, especially a victim’s final moments. While these visions are incredibly useful, they do not reveal the full picture, which is where his sharp investigative mind comes in.

Another trait of Darkblood is that he is immortal. He cannot die by natural causes and exists under infernal rules rather than human limits. That explains the character’s fearless attitude even when dealing with powerful beings.
