Beto Montenegro is the stage name of Alberto “Beto” Montenegro, the Venezuelan singer, songwriter, guitarist, and frontman of Rawayana. The band, formed in Caracas, blends Caribbean influences with reggae, funk, rock, and alternative sounds, eventually building an international audience. 

Montenegro's profile has grown considerably through Rawayana. The group won the 2025 Grammy for Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album for ¿Quién trae las cornetas?, marking a major career milestone for the Venezuelan musicians. Montenegro accepted the award as the band's lead vocalist.

His public profile is therefore rooted primarily in music rather than acting, while his connection with de Armas has drawn fresh international attention. The actress has a long dating history that includes several high-profile names, although she has generally kept her private life away from detailed public discussion.

And the actress already has another major project taking shape alongside her increasingly watched personal life.

Ana de Armas and Kate Hudson are attached to star in Palm Grove, an original thriller from Chernin Entertainment. James Morosini wrote the screenplay, while Hungarian filmmaker Kornél Mundruczó is set to direct. The story takes place in an exclusive Miami neighborhood and follows a woman whose seemingly perfect marriage begins to collapse after she discovers her husband's secret double life.

The revelation draws her into a dangerous situation involving attraction, secrecy, control, and retaliation. Specific roles for Hudson and de Armas have not been announced. The project is still in an early stage and is being presented to potential buyers, so there is currently no confirmed distributor, filming date, or theatrical release schedule.

Morosini, who wrote and directed I Love My Dad, is also attached as executive producer, with Peter Chernin, David Ready, and Brady Fujikawa producing. The combination of de Armas, Hudson, and Mundruczó gives the thriller an intriguing creative foundation, although much of the project remains under wraps.
