The excitement is picking up serious steam as Marvel Studios continues its hunt for the next generation of X-Men superheroes. Following the announcement of a new X-Men reboot movie, the studio has begun searching across Hollywood and beyond for talent to bring the iconic X-Men characters to life. Amid several names and rumors making the rounds, Inde Navarrette, Sadie Sink, and more have already been confirmed for the project.

Now, another name that recently surfaced is Asa Germann. The actor is rumored to be playing Angel in the upcoming X-Men film. But before Marvel Studios makes the final announcement, here is everything you need to know about Germann and his potential role in the X-Men reboot.

Asa Germann is set to play the role of Angel in the upcoming X-Men movie. And if he is cast as Angel, this would not be the first time he has played the role of a superhero. He previously played the role of Supe, Samuel Riordan, or better known as “Sam” in the Amazon Prime Video superhero series Gen V.

He underwent intense stunt training that was needed for the role of the superhero. That explains his commitment to his character. During the filming of the first season, he also sustained injuries.

Later, he returned to reprise his role in The Boys Season 4. The actor also appeared as Luca Bowden in Scream 7. He previously starred in Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, Caviar, and Two Little Boys. Now, he could have landed yet another one of the biggest roles of his career, which is in a Marvel film.

However, he faced a hiccup during his audition process.

Asa Germann had initially auditioned for the role of Cyclops. However, he lost the part to Kit Connor. However, it seems Germann’s performance impressed the Kevin Feige-led studio enough that he was considered for another role. The actor is now in talks to play Warren Worthington III, better known as Angel, as per The Hollywood Reporter.

However, the casting is not confirmed as of yet. For those who may have forgotten, the character was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby and first appeared in the very first issue of X-Men in 1963. Previously, Angel was played by Ben Foster and Ben Hardy, so Germann would have some big shoes to fill if he gets cast. And if the reports are indeed true, he would be joining Kit Connor for the upcoming movie.
