Famous Hollywood star Jamie Foxx had a life-threatening brain bleed in April 2023, which resulted in a stroke. He spent a month in the hospital and does not remember much of his stay. During his recuperation, Foxx had to go through rigorous rehabilitation to regain his ability to walk. After his health scare, he briefly avoided the spotlight. He spent a month in the hospital, although he does not remember much of it. Through all this, one person was constantly by his side, and her name was Alyce Huckstepp.

She has been a special lady in the actor’s life as of late, and suddenly, the internet has developed an interest in Huckstepp and her relationship with Jamie Foxx.

While details about Alyce Huckstepp’s personal life remain under wraps due to her seemingly non-existent social media existence, their relationship timeline is somewhat clear thanks to Jamie Foxx’s popularity and his significant presence on the internet. Even though the exact time as to when their relationship started remains unclear, Foxx and an unidentified woman thought to be Huckstepp were pictured together on a yacht in Cannes, France, in May 2022.

A few months later, Huckstepp went to the Foxx Netflix film Day Shift's August 2022 premiere. She did not take any pictures with Foxx, but she did pose for pictures on the red carpet. The couple was first seen together in public when they dined with a party at Nobu in Malibu, California, in August 2023. At that time, PEOPLE was informed by a source that the two were dating. Huckstepp was also seen on Foxx's Netflix comedy special Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was..., taping in Atlanta in October 2024. Huckstepp and Foxx are, however, not married. 

Although Jamie Foxx has previously maintained that he is not the “marrying type,” he has been a father of two daughters and thinks that raising children in a safe and loving environment is possible without marriage. Foxx, dad of two kids, Anelise with former partner Kristin Grannis, and Corinne with former partner Connie Kline, is now going to be a father once again to a third baby with his current girlfriend.

The news comes after rumors of the couple rekindling their romance after a rumored split in 2025.

Several sources told PEOPLE in January 2025 that the couple was no longer together. Almost four months later, they were photographed leaving Nobu in Malibu together, and in October of that same year, they were sighted together once more while visiting Miami's Kiki on the River.

For now, the couple seems closer than ever with a baby on the way. Jamie Foxx, with Alyce Huckstepp, who has been a great support system in the actor’s life in the past couple of years, is now going to start a new chapter in his life - his first child with Huckstepp and third overall. On the work front, he will be next seen in the Spawn reboot.
