Also known as Aaron, Aariana Rose Philip is an Antiguan-American model and musician who took the fashion scene by storm at a very young age. After co-authoring her memoir This Kid Can Fly: It’s About Ability (Not Disability), which chronicles her childhood with quadriplegic cerebral palsy, she stepped up to redefine the fashion scene. In 2019, she made a runway appearance at a Willie Norris Workshop show, and in the same year, she appeared on the cover of Paper magazine’s 'Pride' issue.

Later, in 2021, she walked for Moschino’s Spring/Summer 2022 fashion show. Since then, she has modeled for several luxury brands, including Collina Strada. And she recently appeared in British Vogue’s May issue.

Back in 2023, Philip modeled as a custom mannequin at the Met’s Women Dressing Women exhibit. Apart from modeling, she has also begun exploring music, creating and self-releasing alternative electronic and experimental tracks. And this year, she finally made her much-awaited Met Gala debut, becoming the first-ever wheelchair user to do so.
