Season 3 of Interview with the Vampire, titled The Vampire Lestat, is set to premiere in the summer of 2026. But where will it be available to watch? As per JustWatch, the series will stream on AMC upon its release.
For those looking to rewatch the first two seasons, the show was initially available on Netflix as part of a deal between the streaming platform and AMC. However, it is no longer available for streaming on Netflix.
Season 3 is also expected to take a different narrative direction. Seasons 1 and 2 were based on the first book in Anne Rice’s The Vampire Chronicles.
It followed Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson), a conflicted vampire grappling with the burdens of immortality, alongside Lestat de Lioncourt (Sam Reid). This time, the story shifts its focus to the titular character, with Sam Reid returning as the iconic Vampire Lestat.
What is the plot of The Vampire Lestat?
Rebranded as The Vampire Lestat, the new season will see Sam Reid back as the iconic vampire. However, this time he will be living large as a modern-day rock star.
As hinted by the title, the story will follow Lestat’s world. While Jacob Anderson will also return as Louis de Pointe du Lac, Lestat’s former lover, the focus will remain on Lestat as he tours in the present day.
