The dinosaurs may have escaped the tropical islands and made their way straight into a suburban neighborhood. The End of Oak Street appears to be set in an ordinary neighbourhood. But the neighbourhood is turned upside down when a mysterious event changes the residents' lives forever. The film, starring Anne Hathaway, takes viewers on a terrifying ride as massive prehistoric creatures prowl through quiet streets.

In the first glimpses of the movie, a family is seen coming face-to-face with a fearsome Tyrannosaurus rex and deadly aerial predators. With giant dinosaurs roaming suburban neighborhoods, where was The End of Oak Street filmed?

The End of Oak Street was primarily filmed in Atlanta, Georgia, under the working title Flowervale Street. Many of the scenes of the film were shot at Electric Owl Studios, located at 3963 Redan Road in Decatur, Georgia. The production also traveled overseas, with filming taking place across London, England.

From suburban streets in Georgia to locations across London, the filmmakers made good use of the locations to bring the dinosaur-infested world of The End of Oak Street to life. The film follows the Platt family as they suddenly find themselves surrounded by deadly dinosaurs and ancient creatures after a mysterious cosmic event transports the ordinary suburban neighborhood into a different and dangerous world. With no clear way home, the family is left to rely on one another to find their way to escape alive.

The film also boasts a star-studded cast, with Anne Hathaway joined by both familiar faces.

Anne Hathaway as Denise Platt: Anne Hathaway needs no introduction. The actress has an impressive filmography with blockbuster films such as Interstellar, The Odyssey, Mother Mary, and many more.

Ewan McGregor as Greg Platt: Ewan McGregor is a Golden Globe Award and Primetime Emmy Award-winning actor. He is best known for his roles in Lipstick on Your Collar, the Star Wars prequel trilogy, and many more.

Maisy Stella as Audrey Platt: Maisy Stella is a Critics' Choice Movie Award and Independent Spirit Award-winning actress and singer. She previously appeared in My Old A** and Poetic License.

Christian Convery as Brian Platt: Christian Convery is an Emmy Award-winning actor. The young star is best known for his role as Gus in Netflix's Sweet Tooth. He has also appeared in the comedy horror films Cocaine Bear and The Monkey.

And after roaming the streets of Atlanta and locations across London, The End of Oak Street will bring its dinosaurs to life soon in theaters. The End of Oak Street is scheduled to arrive in North American theaters on August 14, 2026, with select 4DX screenings and a wider IMAX release. As announced by Warner Bros. Pictures, the film will be available to an international audience on August 12, 2026.
