The famous Wayans brothers, Marlon Wayans and Shawn Wayans, are returning with their new movie, Scary Movie 6. While the upcoming film has awakened the franchise films with the return of the previous cast, including Anna Faris and Regina Hall, it has also drawn attention to yet another comedy classic from the Wayans brothers, and that is White Chicks. Back in 2025, the movie often claimed a spot in the top 10 on Netflix and Prime Video. 

The hilarious characters and memorable interactions from the 2004 hit remain just as relevant and entertaining today. So, for those who wish to watch the cult classic again, is it available to stream online?

White Chicks, which arrived just months after Mean Girls, remains a favorite among younger audiences. Unfortunately, the film is no longer available to stream on Netflix. However, it is available to rent on Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV, and for free on Kanopy and Hoopla. Starring Shawn Wayans and Marlon Wayans, the movie is also co-written by the brothers. 

Directed by Keenen Ivory Wayans, it follows two FBI agents who must go undercover as wealthy white hotel heiresses to thwart a kidnapping plot. John Heard, Busy Philipps, Jessica Cauffiel, and Jennifer Carpenter are also part of the cast. Now, the movie, made on a budget of $37 million, was immensely successful at the box office, earning $113.1 million worldwide.

It made $19.7 million in its opening weekend and a total of $70.8 million in the United States. Now, there remains curiosity about whether the successful movie, White Chicks, could receive a follow-up of its own. After all, the Scary Movie franchise went on to spawn multiple sequels.

Recently, the Wayans brothers have expressed interest in revisiting the story, but only under one condition.

Marlon Wayans and Shawn Wayans, the minds behind White Chicks, recently spoke with Entertainment Tonight about the possibility of a sequel. The duo said they would be open to making White Chicks 2. However, that can happen under one condition tied to their upcoming film, Scary Movie 6.  They explained that if Scary Movie 6 performs well, they would seriously consider moving forward with it.  

“If this movie does well, a White Chicks 2 can happen," Shawn Wayans said.

 Even Scary Movie 6 star Anna Faris has also expressed interest in joining the sequel. The Wayans brothers said they might not be able to afford her, but later joked about paying her less. For now, however, the chances of White Chicks 2 largely depend on the success of Scary Movie 6.
