Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are one of the comedy world’s best duos, giving some of the most memorable films and shows. While their latest award-winning Apple TV+ series, The Studio, is making waves, their Superbad might be the best project to start the conversation about their talent and partnership. This movie is quite popular among the young generation, too. 

So, with both the new and older generations raving about this film, the streaming home of this comedy classic is the big question.  

Fortunately, Superbad is not forgotten by the big streaming platforms just yet. While it is available on Netflix in certain regions, U.S. viewers can catch it on Amazon Prime for now. But the bad news is the movie is set to leave in just nine days. 

While it may find a new streaming home soon, Amazon Prime viewers have a limited window to enjoy this nostalgic and unapologetically hilarious film. The movie follows two best friends during their final days of high school. And the two friends wish to party and start their s** life before heading to the next chapter of their life. 

The 2007 comedy holds a special place in fans’ hearts, or, as Seth Rogen joked in an interview with PEOPLE, no high school movie has ever done it better.  

"So it never changed for some reason. No one's made a good high school movie since then," Rogen joked about it.

This is quite convincing, but if one ever needs another reason to watch, then it will be that the movie is loosely based on a true experience.

Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg were inspired by their high school experiences to make Superbad. The duo started developing the movie while still teens, so clearly, this is a movie about teens and developed from the minds of teens. Rogen had even considered playing Jonah Hill’s role himself. 

However, the younger actors got the parts, but the main characters kept their names, as Superbad follows two characters, Seth and Evan. Most characters, places, and cringe-worthy interactions are inspired by real people and experiences from their Vancouver days. Although not as popular as The Studio, this movie is worth watching even to this day.
