The Scream movies are one of the most popular slasher franchises, with a massive fandom that loves the chilling tension, mystery, and chaos. Continuing its iconic run, Ghostface came back swinging in the newest film, Scream 7. And this time, the phone rang for some of the original cast members, including Neve Campbell, David Arquette, and Courteney Cox. 

After pulling in strong numbers at the box office, Ghostface is now ready to make the jump from theaters to homes. So, for those who wish to watch the horror film from the comfort of their homes, is it available to stream online?

Scream 7 arrived in theaters on February 27, 2026, and had an impressive run. Soon after, the movie landed on streaming platforms, allowing fans to rent it on Amazon Prime Video. It is also available to rent on Apple TV and Fandango. While the film may arrive on a subscription-based streaming service in the future, for now, renting remains the only option. 

For those unfamiliar with the horrors of Scream 7, the story follows Sidney Prescott as she is forced to confront her past when her daughter, Tatum Prescott, becomes the latest target of Ghostface. Isabel May stars as Tatum, while returning cast members like Matthew Lillard, David Arquette, and Scott Foley reprise their roles. Despite high expectations, the film received one of the lowest ratings in the franchise on Rotten Tomatoes. 

However, despite the scathing reviews, the movie was a box office success, earning over $100 million domestically and grossing more than $200 million worldwide. That kind of performance speaks volumes about slasher films' popularity, and clearly, it is not fading anytime soon. And since Scream 7 revisits legacy characters, it is the perfect time to revisit the earlier Scream movies as well.

Much to fans’ relief, all the Scream movies can be streamed online. All the films are currently available to stream on Paramount+. As for those who do not have Paramount+, there are other options where they can stream the movies. Scream (1996) is available on Kanopy, YouTube TV, and Philo. 

Both Scream 2 and Scream 3 are also available on Kanopy, YouTube TV, and Philo. Meanwhile, Scream 4, which can be streamed on Kanopy, YouTube TV, and Philo, is also available on ViX and Prime Video MovieSphere. The newest movies, such as Scream, which was released in 2022, and Scream VI, are available on Paramount+ and Pluto TV. With most of the franchise now streaming and Scream 7 available to rent, it is the perfect time to binge-watch the slasher movies.
