Behind the candy-colored streams and gaming sessions, however, her life begins to fracture under the pressure of constant validation, parasocial relationships and the demands of maintaining a perfect online persona. Her volatile relationship with P-Chan, her manager and the player’s character from the original game, becomes increasingly tangled as the boundary between Ame-Chan’s real identity and KAngel’s online existence starts to collapse.
