Marjoe, the Oscar-winning documentary from 1972, has more streaming homes today than most revival preachers had tents. Its tagline promised “You Keep the Faith… Marjoe Keeps the Money,” and the film delivered by letting a former child evangelist explain every camera trick. Marjoe Gortner was ordained at age 4, which makes every other career start look painfully slow. The only question is where to press play, and options are plentiful.

While Gortner once collected offerings for front-row salvation, the next section reveals seats that cost nothing at all today.

Marjoe is free to stream with ads on Tubi, Fawesome, Plex, Cineverse and Fandango at Home Free. Availability is strongest in the United States, with some reach in Canada, so everyone else needs a backup plan. The film runs about 88 minutes, roughly one revival meeting with the collection plate passed twice. Howard Smith and Sarah Kernochan directed it after Marjoe Gortner approached Smith in 1971 looking for publicity.

Subscribers can find Marjoe on Philo, fuboTV, and the Fandor and DocuramaFilms channels on Amazon. Renting costs from about $2.99 on Amazon Video, while Apple TV charges $2.99 to $3.99 to rent and from about $7.99 to buy. Availability shifts often, and JustWatch tracks those changes, since listings move more often than a touring evangelist. A quick check there before paying for anything saves both money and disappointment.
