Lili Reinhart’s Forbidden Fruits has quickly become one of the most talked-about horror comedies of 2026, blending supernatural chaos, dark humor, and a stylish ensemble cast into one wickedly entertaining ride. Because Forbidden Fruits was linked to Shudder, the film was expected to arrive there after completing its premium rental window. While it was not initially included with major streaming subscriptions, its anticipated move to Shudder opened the door for a wider horror audience to discover the film.

Alongside Cherry and Fig, Apple has created a powerful sisterhood built on loyalty, beauty, and control but the arrival of Pumpkin, played by Lola Tung, begins to unravel the carefully maintained balance. What starts as a stylized story about empowerment soon exposes darker truths beneath the group’s polished exterior.

The film uses its exaggerated camp aesthetic to explore deeper themes like consumerism, toxic sisterhood, and the pressure to belong.
