For generations of American shoppers, QVC has been part store, part television comfort food, and part late-night temptation machine. Since launching in 1986, Quality, Value, and Convenience has turned hosts chatting about cookware, jewelry, beauty products, and gadgets into an entire shopping culture.
Now, four decades of impulse buys, familiar faces, and “only a few remaining” urgency have been packaged into A QVC Story, a documentary celebrating the network’s 40-year journey.
So where can viewers watch it?

The four-part original series begins with Part 1: “The Early Years,” released March 13. Its 35 minutes revisit QVC’s early live broadcasts, original hosts, and the wonderfully analog era when ordering from television felt vaguely futuristic. Part 2: “Building Legacies” jumps into the 1990s and 2000s, examining how brands and personalities grew alongside the channel.
Part 3: “The Shopping Revolution” explores QVC’s transition into the e-commerce age, while the newly released Part 4: “The Future of Live Social Shopping” completes the series by looking at how the brand is adapting to a world of apps, influencers, livestreams, and social commerce. The finale runs 54 minutes and arrived October 13.
And shoppers are not the only ones getting a nostalgia-heavy documentary, because one of music’s greatest family acts is preparing its own trip through history.
The Jackson brothers are getting an untitled documentary
For music and dance fans, Jackie, Jermaine, Tito, and Marlon Jackson are the focus of a new documentary tracing their extraordinary journey through the Jackson 5 and beyond. The still-untitled project has been three years in the making and will exist as both a 90-minute feature and a three-part documentary series.

Workerbee and Paper Route Studios secured exclusive access to the brothers, while Benjamin Hirsch, who previously directed the Janet Jackson documentary, is behind the camera. The film travels back to Gary, Indiana, exploring the relentless childhood rehearsals overseen by Joe Jackson, Katherine Jackson’s role within the family, global superstardom, internal fractures, and later reunions.
Rare archive material and previously unseen footage are also included. Most poignantly, the documentary contains Tito Jackson’s final interview before his death in 2024.
