<p>Over the years, <a href="https://netflixjunkie.com/tag/ryan-reynolds/">Ryan Reynolds</a> has proved that he can handle any role given to him. From rom-coms to thrillers like <em>The Adam Project</em>, he has tried his hand and excelled at everything. Although he has been able to rise to the occasion numerous times before, his latest upcoming project has left fans of the actor wondering what they can expect from him.</p>
<p>With the actor teaming up with John Krasinski to bring the world the fantasy film, <em>Imaginary Friends</em>, let us take a look at what the star could bring to the table.</p>

While filming had already begun, it ended up being halted because of the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strike. <p>A month ago, the trailer for John Krasinski&#8217;s <em>Imaginary Friends</em> made its way online. While the world had already gotten behind-the-scenes looks at Ryan Reynolds on set before, it was revealed that he would be helping kids reconnect with their imaginary friends. With the storyline revolving around a child who can see everyone&#8217;s imaginary friends, there is no doubt that the star will bring his hilariousness into it, just like he did with <em>Detective Pikachu</em>.</p>

<p>In 2019, the 47-year-old stunned the world when he teamed up with Pokemon to bring the character to life. While it might not be his best or most popular role, it did end up showing his fans that the father of four could take on anything. Thankfully, fans will not have to wait too long until the film is released. It is set to make its way to theaters on 17th May 2024.</p>

<p>In 2022, John Krasinski opened up about his plans to team up with Ryan Reynolds for the upcoming film <em>Imaginary Friends</em>. While he was a part of the cast, that was not the only thing he did. In fact, he ended up pulling quadruple duty as the film&#8217;s writer, director, producer, and co-star. With no scenes of the actor making their way into the trailer, not much is known about his role.</p>
