Elle Fanning recently sat for a conversation with SmartLess with Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett. During the chat, she was asked about how she met her boyfriend, Gus Wenner, which unexpected led to the mention of Puck. When further poked about it, the actress revealed what Puck was.

“It's like an entertainment email thing, too, right? In the industry, you have to sign up for it, and it's like you get little inside scoops and things,” Fanning said.

Another member (Will) on the podcast chimed in, describing Puck as a newsletter one needs to subscribe to in order to receive insider updates. Former The Hollywood Reporter journalist Matthew Belloni is also part of the platform, according to Puck’s official website. And it is not just entertainment, Puck also covers finance, politics, and even fashion. 

Subscribers get emails directly from authors about the news and rare insights. Launched in 2021, the platform has been steadily growing its audience. Fanning also shared that she met her boyfriend at a Puck-related event.
