Anne Hathaway has a lot to look back on this year. The actress had a packed schedule with back-to-back films. But amid all the premiere events, new projects, and career highs, Hathaway has also had something personal to celebrate. Earlier in June, the actress announced that she is expecting her third child. 

And looking back on this impressive and eventful year, the actress shared a few heartfelt thoughts about the experiences and what she has learnt.

Anne Hathaway recently appeared in an interview with Entertainment Tonight to talk about her final film of the year, Verity. When asked what she had learned about herself, both professionally and personally, after such an impressive year, the actress expressed her appreciation for all the support she has received. She further opened up about how she has enjoyed all the love and support.

“I'm amazed that I'm on such an amazing team in every aspect of my life and my personal life,” she said. 

“I've just been able to have a great time and really enjoy it. And that's one of the things I love about being 43. I'm out of stage in life, where I really value and prioritize my joy. And so I've just been able to live in that all year long. And what a gift that's been,” she further added. 

During the interview, she appreciated the support she received from her family as well as professionally. Hathaway kicked off this year by starring in the sequel to The Devil Wears Prada, which was released in May. She later appeared in Mother Mary, The End of Oak Street, and The Odyssey. Now, she is set to appear in the much-anticipated film Verity alongside Dakota Johnson and Josh Hartnett.

During the year, the actress has spoken much about the joy as well as the pressure of filming for her projects. However, she claimed that filming for Verity sometimes felt like vacationing. 

The trailer for the thriller Verity has hinted that the film will be packed with intense and gripping scenes. The mounting tension and suspense further raise the stakes. However, even amid all the high-stakes moments, Hathaway revealed that she had a few scenes that required little more than lying down and resting. 

"I felt like such a cheat when I would go to work," Hathaway told Extra TV. 

She further added, "My job that day was to like let my hair dry naturally, put on a nightgown, and get into bed and like stare vacantly."

Understandably, the actress felt that filming the movie sometimes seemed more like a vacation than a demanding shoot. However, even while lying in bed, her mind was never truly at rest, as she constantly thought about the next scene and memorizing her dialogue. The first glimpse of the movie has already garnered plenty of hype, and Hathaway appears ready to show another memorable performance in what will be her final project of the year.
