Ryan Reynolds is bringing his soccer club Wrexham AFC to the United States for friendly matches with Chelsea and more teams.

Welcome to Hollywood! Ryan Reynolds is Bringing Wrexham AFC to the US

Wrexham AFC is a football team that holds a history and enjoys the support of
devoted fans. Nonetheless, in time, they have faced challenges and difficulties
including financial struggles and ownership disputes. The club almost went
extinct and people almost forgot about it and the town of Wrexham. However,
everything changed when Hollywood’s charm, Ryan Reynolds
[https://netflixjunkie.com/tag/ryan-reynolds/] stepped in.

The Deadpool actor and his friend Rob McElhenney acquired the club in 2021.
Regardless, they have committed passionately to restoring its fortunes and
transforming it into a global sensation since then. Their efforts, which have
been nothing short of remarkable, were showcased through a documentary series,
Welcome to Wrexham. Now the team has had stadium renovations and a National
League promotion and they are on an upcoming journey, to the United States!

Wrexham AFC is gearing up for a journey to the United States where they will
face off against Chelsea, Manchester United, LA Galaxy II, and Philadelphia
Union II at venues in North Carolina, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Pennsylvania.
This is a moment as it will be Wrexham’s first-ever game in the US, creating a
historic milestone not just for the club but also for soccer enthusiasts
worldwide. Additionally, it presents an opportunity for Ryan Reynolds to realize
his vision.

The upcoming match holds significance for Reynolds as he intended to bring
Wrexham to the global spotlight. Both the co-owners expressed their desire to
use this occasion as a platform to introduce Wrexham to an audience and foster
stronger bonds between the two clubs and their fans.

It’s worth noting Ryan Reynolds’ commitment to Wrexham can irk Marvel Studios
for the actor’s upcoming Deadpool 3.

HOW WILL RYAN REYNOLDS BALANCE WREXHAM AND DEADPOOL 3?

The 46-year-old currently has a lot of food on his plate. As he is involved with
multiple projects and commitments at the same time. However, none of his
projects are as widely anticipated as Deadpool 3. A dream collaboration with
Hugh Jackman, fans are holding their breath to catch a glimpse of the movie.
However, the wait seems to be dragged along a little longer. The ongoing
SAG-AFTRA strikes have officially halted productions on Deadpool 3 just as set
photos of the famed comic pair in their iconic suits emerged

His current fixation with Wrexham AFC, however, is drawing the attention of
Marvel Studios. He seems to be focusing a lot of his time on the club, which can
take a toll here. With a recent Emmy nomination, his first ever

Wrexham has shot up in the global spotlight and so has the star’s commitment to
the show. He is expected to return with a second season of Welcome to Wrexham.
The first season has already catapulted the town and its people into the global
limelight. In such a scenario, only Reynolds himself can answer the question
better.
