Sandra Bullock's 2010 Academy Award victory for The Blind Side remains one of Hollywood's most celebrated moments, with her portrayal of Leigh Anne Tuohy earning universal acclaim and the Best Actress trophy. Speaking to Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos on Live with Kelly and Mark, Sandra Bullock revealed that she barely remembers winning her Oscar because she was secretly caring for her newborn son Louis during the ceremony.

"I was hiding a newborn. No one knew I had Lou, and he had acid reflux, so he slept only every two hours. So I don't remember much of the night," she confessed, explaining the exhaustion that clouded her recollection of the historic moment. 

Bullock further revealed on Live with Kelly and Mark that despite the significance of the evening, her primary focus remained on returning home to care for Louis.

"But I do know that I wanted to get home because I wanted to do the feeding, because I knew who was there with him was probably struggling," she recalled, emphasizing her urgency to leave the ceremony. After attending the afterparty and waiting for her name to be engraved on the Oscar, she rushed home, still wearing her gown. 

The actress also shared that she had gone to extreme lengths to protect Louis from paparazzi, once hiding him in a hockey bag while transporting him to the car. Her dedication to motherhood has continued to shape her career choices, with Bullock stating that she will not take roles that require her to be away from her children.
