Ryan Reynolds [http://netflixjunkie.com/tag/ryan-reynolds/]‘ The Adam Project
introduced Walker Scobell as little Adam, who left the world in awe with his
brilliant performance. He shocked the Canadian actor with his sense of humor and
his utmost dedication to Deadpool as well. After getting a huge debut in one of
Netflix’s most expensive movies, Scobell is coming back to the screens in the
Percy Jackson adaptation. Created by Rick Riordan and Jonathan E. Steinberg for
Disney+, the upcoming series is already making headlines for various reasons.

One of the reasons is the money that is spent on the production of the series.
Ahead of the grand release of the series, the per-episode budget of the series
shows how much the producers believe in the adaptation as well.

HOW MUCH MONEY DID THEY SPEND ON THE PRODUCTION OF THE PERCY JACKSON SERIES?

To translate an already fan-favorite story into a television series is an
extremely challenging task. However, Disney+ is going to bring Percy Jackson to
life on the 20th of December, 2023. Amidst the huge hype around the release of
the series, Variety noted

that the production house spent around $12M and $15M per episode. It is almost
close to the money spent on The Mandalorian. Surprisingly, this upcoming series
might mark one of the most expensive productions that Scobell has worked on
until now.

His first film, The Adam Project, had an overall budget of $116 million. With a
budget in the double-digit millions per episode, the Percy Jackson series would
outperform the Netflix movie in terms of economic status. However, the Shawn
Levy film received praise for the performances of the actors, especially
Scobell’s debut. Therefore, the only challenge he has is to impress fans one
more time with his amazing skills.
