Margo Martindale has called Sarah Paulson very naughty, and the confession came with a grin. The two actresses share the screen in All’s Fair Season 2, which began streaming on Hulu this week. Ryan Murphy never builds a quiet workplace, so a firm full of divorce lawyers and a famously mischievous cast promised plenty of noise before anyone said a single word. Now one cast member is finally telling tales.

While Paulson has built a career on playing characters who bite, Martindale is ready to reveal what happens when the cameras stop rolling and the giggling starts.

Margo Martindale says Sarah Paulson kept her laughing on All’s Fair

Margo Martindale has confirmed that Sarah Paulson is very, very naughty. Martindale joined Season 2 of All’s Fair as a guest star. Paulson has been a regular since the show began. Most of their scenes this season are together.

“Sarah and I could not stop laughing which just makes me very very happy,” Martindale said in a recent interview with On The Red Carpet.

She then added, “She is very, very naughty,” calling Paulson the best kind of naughty.

On The Red Carpet hosted the interview and noted that no screeners of Season 2 had been shared. Martindale filled in the gap by revealing that she plays a chef, and she called Paulson fantastic. Coverage names her character Gloria Bloom, a celebrity cook whose divorce mediation turns into holiday catering duty in Episode 3. Her husband, Winston, wants half of everything she built, including a prized tuna noodle casserole recipe.

“History Has Proven” – Kim Kardashian on Success of 'All’s Fair' After Negative Reviews

While Martindale and Paulson giggled over the stove, the character Paulson plays was busy stirring up far worse trouble for everyone else.

Sarah Paulson stirs trouble while Kim Kardashian studies law on All’s Fair

Sarah Paulson plays Carrington Carr Lane, a foul-mouthed divorce attorney who treats the women of Grant, Ronson & Greene as sworn rivals. Carr still resents being left behind when the firm walked out of its male-dominated old workplace, and her revenge plans are gloriously extreme. Even critics who disliked Season 1 singled out Paulson’s insults and camp energy for praise. With that record, Margo Martindale’s verdict reads like a fair heads-up.

While Paulson plays a lawyer with no manners, Kardashian, who portrays Allura Grant, takes the law seriously off-screen. She is studying law through California’s Law Office Study Program, and at the Season 2 premiere, she said her late father would have been her best study buddy. Robert Kardashian was a prominent attorney on the O.J. Simpson defense team and died in 2003. Kardashian handles the case files while Paulson, by Martindale’s account, handles the mischief.
