As any parent knows, caring for a child is never a walk in the park. From their first crushes to watching them slowly slip through their parent’s fingers, it is a rather difficult journey. However, it seems as though Uma Thurman might just have it all figured out. After all, she did raise the Stranger Things star, Maya Hawke, her brother, Levon, and her youngest daughter, Luna. So it is evident that the star knows a thing or two about being a good parent.

The Kill Bill star even recently gave Jimmy Fallon the best parenting advice as the duo sat down and talked about their daughters.

After raising three kids, it is no surprise that Uma Thurman is a parenting pro. Recently, the 53-year-old made her way onto The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. While most of the conversation was fun and light-hearted, it quickly switched to 2 proud parents talking about their children. After the host complained that his children were growing up too soon, Thurman’s advice was to, “just give them braces.”

The “great” advice came as Fallon talked about how his older daughter, Winnie, had gotten into the phase where she was ready for her first crush. He went on to say that she would ask him when he had his, but the star always pushed it by one more year. While everyone was already laughing, Thurman’s advice had them cracking up even more. Notably, it was a joke, but a pretty good one at that.

Back in March, Maya Hawke had gone on to The Tonight Show to perform ‘Therese’ from her music album, ‘Moss’. While the 25-year-old may have stunned the world with her amazing vocals, seven months later the host revealed that Uma Thurman had been “backstage and just rooting her on” the entire time. Fallon went on to say that they did not mention it earlier, as he “didn’t want to make a big deal out of it.”

Thurman added that it was a good thing he had not mentioned it back then, as her daughter “wouldn’t have liked that.” While Hawke may not have known her mom and younger sister were backstage, the supportiveness of the family cleared up why she thought her family was similar to the Kardashians. However, there is no doubt that the former model knows exactly how to handle her children. After all, she has been doing it for 25 years now.
