The former co-stars remain remarkably close, bonding over the joys and chaos of parenthood despite building separate families. That lasting connection feels fitting, considering Sabara and PenaVega grew up together as Juni and Carmen Cortez, spent months on demanding sets that somehow resembled a summer camp filled with costumes, travel, and enough laughter to pass for sibling diplomacy.

Speaking to the Daily Mail during the event, PenaVega reflected on the friendship that has endured since Spy Kids. "I reach out to her all the time, and be like, 'Hey, I am going through this. Like, did you go through this with your kids?'" Sabara revealed, explaining that PenaVega has become his unofficial parenting hotline. Since she started raising a family years earlier, her answer is usually reassuringly familiar. It turns out the greatest Spy Kids gadget is shared parenting advice.

PenaVega, who shares three children with husband Carlos PenaVega, could not hide her admiration for her former on-screen brother while speaking to The Daily Mail. She described Sabara as 'super dad,' praising the way he balances fatherhood with everything else on his plate.
