Tom Holland’s horrible habit of revealing Marvel spoilers came back to haunt him when a group of young students called him out. The actor may be great at battling villains and bad guys in his Spider-Man suit, but the actor is far less successful when it comes to keeping Marvel's biggest secrets under wraps. There have been several instances of Holland accidentally revealing crucial details ahead of Marvel movie releases. 

While he has been much more careful during the Spider-Man: Brand New Day promotional campaign, the actor was reminded of his past slip-ups during his appearance on Celebrity Substitute. He did not seem to have much chance against a brutally honest and formidable group of young New York City students.

Tom Holland's interview with a group of young New York City students on the latest episode of Celebrity Substitute was far from the usual conversations he has during press interviews. At one point, a young girl asked him whether he was a good actor. Before Holland could respond, another student quickly chimed in, saying he did not think the actor was very good.

"Well, he spoils everything," the kid said when the Celebrity Substitute host Julian Shapiro-Barnum called the comment "mean". 

Now, Shapiro-Barnum was quick to remind that the student was indeed right about the spoilers. Holland's history of spoiling Marvel movies is a long one. Over the years, the actor has accidentally revealed several major details about the MCU, such as when he accidentally showed the Avengers: Infinity War poster live on social media. 

Holland also let slip that the original Spider-Man movies would be a trilogy and accidentally revealed that Peter Parker would travel to space in Infinity War. Even in the latest interview, the actor came close to revealing a spoiler when one of the kids asked whether Tobey Maguire would appear in the upcoming movie. But fortunately, Holland managed to handle the situation without giving anything away.

However, he was caught off guard by another unexpected question about his personal life. 

During the same episode of Celebrity Substitute, a student named Victor bluntly asked Tom Holland whether he was married. The actor hesitated for a moment while calling it an “important question.” However, as he gave a response, the actor was quick to joke about the bizarre situation. 

"I am," he said. 

"You guys obviously haven't been media trained like the publicists that I speak with,” he added.

Holland also had an amusing response when another student, Kayson, asked whether he takes Zendaya on dates. He agreed, calling it his favorite thing to do. Now, as for Holland and Zendaya’s marriage, he confirmed it during an interview with Esquire. But it might be safe to say Celebrity Substitute was a rare interview that left Holland fumbling more than once, while the brutally direct questions from the kids kept him on his toes.
