Pausing the gameplay in Paris, however, has him stopping in his tracks, and at the event’s price tag. Not one to leave a stone, or note, unturned, Chalamet seems to know what the audience might have had to dish out to see him there.

On February 3, 2026, Timothée Chalamet made a pit stop at the Le Grand Rex in Paris. Bringing Marty Supreme to his roots, the actor addressed the premiere tickets, worth $60, in front of the gathering. Acknowledging the high price, the actor went on to express that he would rather have had the event be free of cost. 

“I know you were charged a lot,” he said, “I’m not getting any money from it, I would have liked for it to be free,” Chalamet explained, as per Variety. The actor's appearance in Paris comes post his Golden Globes win for Best Actor in a Motion Picture–Musical or Comedy. Following him holding accountability for ticket prices, Timothée Chalamet expressed gratitude for the French crowd and the big cinema culture of the country.
