Reports say that golf legend Tiger Woods wants the main lead from Michael to play himself in his biopic. At that time, Variety reports predicted that the film could even surpass $1 billion by the end of its run.

This astronomical success would not have been possible without the powerful performance by the main lead portraying the King of Pop, and that is why Tiger Woods is also eying him for his biopic.

According to a source who spoke to Globe, Tiger Woods is pushing producers to try to get Michael Jackson's nephew Jaafar Jackson to play him in a future biopic. Jaafar Jackson, who played his legendary uncle in Michael, has received high praise worldwide for his unbelievable performance as the late pop icon.

Variety reported back in March that King Richard filmmaker Reinaldo Marcus Green is in talks to direct the film adaptation of Kevin Cook's book The Tiger Slam, which chronicles the professional golfer's early ascent to prominence, after Amazon MGM Studios acquired the film rights.

“Woods has been at peace with the notion for a while now while also wondering who the heck would actually be qualified to play him,” said the source.

The sources also noted that regardless of opinions about the Michael film and its execution, everyone agrees that Jaafar Jackson surpassed all expectations and is worthy of all the praises he is getting for his performance, displaying extraordinary talent in his on-screen physical metamorphosis.

According to Globe's source, Tiger Woods and the Amazon executives behind his biography are thrilled about Jaafar Jackson and the prospect of him bringing the fan base he built with the Michael film over to their production. But that will only happen if the actor shows an interest in the role.

“The job is his if he wants it!” declared the source.

The source further adds that both admirers and detractors of Tiger Woods are excited to see the actor bring to life another once-in-a-century life story since he has the look and the momentum. For now, Jaafar Jackson is enjoying Michael’s record-breaking run at the box office and is busy working on the sequel.
