Before the Slapgate incident, Will Smith talked about the right mindset to help manifest success on Jay Shetty's On Purpose Podcast.

Throwback to 2021 When Will Smith Talked About the Right Mindset Needed to “Become Michael Jordan” With Jay Shetty on the Purpose Podcast

Will Smith [https://www.netflixjunkie.com/tag/will-smith/] is probably one of
the best-known actors in the world. For decades, he has been stunning the world
with his charm, quick wit, and amazing films. But the star has one thing in
common with his fans. Just like most fans were captivated by the NBA’s greatest
all-time player, Michael Jordan, so was the Fresh Prince actor. From a fan to a
friend, Will Smith sure might be living out one of his childhood fantasies, but
the star is no stranger to achieving success either.

Back in 2021, Will Smith went on Jay Shetty’s podcast
[https://www.netflixjunkie.com/hollywood-news-oscar-winning-actor-will-smith-admitted-it-to-jay-shetty-the-one-character-he-really-want-to-be-in-twenty-twenty-one/]
to talk about the importance of having the right mindset to manifest success in
your life.

WILL SMITH TALKS ABOUT THE MINDSET REQUIRED TO BECOME MICHAEL JORDAN

Having gone through one of the most public betrayals, Will Smith and his family
ended up coming out on the other side with the help of the life guru. On the
podcast, Will Smith opened up about how most athletes, like Michael Jordan, have
an extreme mindset and teach themselves discipline to reach the success that
they desire, but that is not possible for everyone to achieve.

Will Smith went on to say that having reached that point of discipline and
achieving what you want might not always end with a person feeling content. The
duo focused on ways that one could use manifestation to their advantage. From
talking about how to achieve the right mindset to talking about acceptance and
moving on, it is no surprise that the episode garnered a lot of love from Will
Smith’s fans.

But the podcast also left a lot of fans wondering did this friendship began and
how it managed to slip under everyone’s radars.

THE SMITH-SHETTY FRIENDSHIP TIMELINE

No one seems exactly sure about when or how Will Smith and Jay Shetty met, but
the duo started surprising the world in 2020, with Will Smith posting a picture
on Facebook for the life guru’s birthday. But ever since then, they have kept
collaborating on podcasts and have grown much closer after Slapgate.

The most recent update of their friendship was in lieu of the Oscar ban that was
issued to The King Richard star, the actor took his family to go see the guru as
it was reported that he was not “feeling good” about missing the Awards for the
first time. If the life guru can help the actor overcome the difficulties that
he is going through, there is no doubt that the actor’s fans will adore him more
than they already do.
