As Fallon tradition goes, the show has a couple of layers. Not just interviews, but a sketch or an innovative interaction definitely takes place. And one of them with the Free Guy actor turned out to be a ‘roasting each other’s careers’ roast sketch. The Canadian actor put his personality to the best use. The roast battle in the November 2022 broadcast of The Tonight Show was a treat. Fallon started it off with what he respects about Reynolds and it was “You willing to own all the bad movies you’ve been in.” And quickly chiming in was Reynolds, adding what he respected about Fallon and it was hilarious, “You knew when to give up making movies entirely.”
The Deadpool actor further added the icing on the cake, “You know the phrase ‘Dance like no one is watching?’ Well, you do everything like no one is watching.” But we all know that these two are stalwarts in the industry. Having a mutual connection of being great fathers, entertainers, and just great sports, these two bring a smile to everyone’s faces around them.
This is not the only time the Wrexham club owner has appeared on the show. He has done some pretty wild things on the show before.

Reynolds has appeared several times on the show since it started in 2014. And Fallon has rolled out some of the most impressive sketches that will send a tickle down your spine. In his 2019 Christmas holidays episode, they performed a short sketch on holiday guests and them not leaving. Another one involved a ‘Water War’ where if one lost a hand in the game of cards, they would be splashed with a water gun.
They have also bonded over their love for their families. When Fallon and Reynolds were talking about their kids and them not calling them dad yet, Reynolds had a good add-on. He chipped in saying, “I am gonna write a book that says Daddy loves you 10% more.”
