The actor was born in the London Borough of Hackney before finding his passion
for acting. In Britain, one of his first notable works was in the TV series The
Wire, but for many Americans, he is DCI John Luther from Luther. But Elba
recently made some interesting comments about an English person doing an
American accent.

The actor was left astonished when he heard his own work and wondered how he got
away with such a fake accent. Apparently, one can hear the British accent of
