3 Massive Updates About Henry Cavill’s ‘Highlander Reboot’ Ahead of His Return to the Big Screen With ‘Argylle’

Fans of the seasoned face of Henry Cavill
[https://netflixjunkie.com/tag/henry-cavill/] as the last son of Kryptonite know
the hurt behind losing their main man from the poster of the DCU franchise.
Especially since that snub was a back-to-back hit right after his cutting loose
with The Witcher [https://netflixjunkie.com/tag/the-witcher/]’s world.
Therefore, as he gets all ready to bring his charm for the movie monitors with
the espionage thriller, Argylle [https://www.netflixjunkie.com/tag/argylle/] on
February 2nd, the other bombshell releases from his sleeve, specifically
Highlander Reboot, have also begun buzzing.

Having cut short from experiencing Cavill’s skillful swordsmanship, fans can
finally relive the days as Highlander Reboot makes space in his resume. And here
are 3 facts one should definitely know about it.

HIGHLANDER REBOOT UPDATES

Henry Cavill’s proficiency in swordsmanship was already out in the open since
his skinning of Geralt’s role. However, since those days were short-lived, Chad
Stahelski shouldered the responsibility to bring that avatar again on his
journey of Highlander Reboot by casting the former Geralt. This return to the
fantasy will firstly be distributed by Lionsgate as it will be launching sales
at the AFM.

Secondly, the Stahelski directorial will also have a whopping figure budget
north of $100 million. Third and finally, Henry Cavill’s donning of Connor
MacLeod’s swordsmanship will officially begin filming in July. So far, it seems
that the makers might be moving ahead as per their schedule, which was revealed
previously in October. And while fans were already eagerly waiting for the
moment to queue up for Argylle’s watch-fest, this update could be the supreme
touch.

While the important updates on Highlander Reboot may have stirred the frenzy,
let’s see how Stahelski plans to remain loyal to the original Highlander.

CHAD STAHELSKI PROMISES TO REMAIN FAITHFUL TO HIGHLANDER

One of the things Cavill holds to his heart is the need to remain loyal to the
source of origin. It was this need that caused the creative differences between
him and the makers

of The Witcher in the first place. However, the actor might need to worry about
this factor for Highlander Reboot because the director has already planned to do
the same as was revealed by him in an interview with Screen Rant last year.

According to him, since it was his love for the original that drew his passion
for a reboot creation for the franchise, he plans to work out the “ancillary
stuff” from the 1986 movie in his remake. Furthermore, Stahelski also plans to
go neck-deep in the mythological importance of the original. And he also plans
to not suppress the original plotline of the movie. Therefore, with his own
pledges and the following updates, a complete package of a Henry Cavill-led box
office queue awaits shortly.
