Jennifer Aniston trophy shelves are drowning in Emmys, Golden Globes, and Screen Actor Guild awards. From her unforgettable stint as Rachel Green in Friends, she climbed to become one of the world’s highest-paid actresses through years of hard work. Surprisingly, there was a time when she did not see herself as popular enough to be in a star-studded film. That changed when one of her early major comedic film offers came for a cult classic.

In an old interview, Jennifer Aniston shared the reasons behind not seeing herself as popular enough, even when the makers had a different opinion.

Entertainment Weekly orchestrated a reunion with writer-director Mike Judge, the cast, and crew to share behind-the-scenes secrets of the cult comedy, Office Space. In the interview, the creators mentioned they were searching for a “big name” for the character Joanna, played by Aniston. Producer Michael Rotenberg voiced concerns about casting such a big star for a relatively minor role. However, Aniston herself had a different take on the matter and did not think shewas the biggest anything at the time”.

Jennifer Aniston revealed that roles like the one in Office Space were not landing in her lap during that time and she was genuinely thrilled about the opportunity. She also dropped an interesting tidbit about attending the same high school as Office Space star David Herman. And that was not all. She also had a crush on Herman, who was her senior in school.

Aniston’s on-screen love interest on Friends, David Schwimmer (aka Ross Geller), also confessed to having a crush on her during the show’s reunion special. And that is not the end of Aniston’s admirers. Even Cole Sprouse, who played Schwimmer’s son on the show, admitted to being “infatuated” with Aniston during a 2017 MTV interview.
