Jamie Lee Curtis and Arnold Schwarzenegger co-starred in True Lies

Thirty Years After ‘True Lies’, Jamie Lee Curtis and Arnold Schwarzenegger Reunite for a Special Cause

Considering how Arnold Schwarzenegger
[https://www.netflixjunkie.com/tag/arnold-schwarzenegger] is still thriving at
76, it’s challenging to select a single era from his diverse career as his peak.
However, cinematically, the 90s era is widely regarded as his finest. Around
that time the actor was absolutely undefeatable as the action king of Tinsel
Town, churning blockbusters one after another such as Commando and True Lies.
The latter in particular is still considered one of his best movies owing to the
thrilling plot, Schwarzenegger’s beautiful pronunciation of ‘chopper’, and his
effortless chemistry with Jamie Lee Curtis.

The actor has recreated his chopper joke several times throughout his career and
almost each of his movies is a masterclass in thriller. But there are not many
times that Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jamie Lee Curtis have reunited in the
public eye despite being long-time friends until now.

ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER AND JAMIE LEE CURTIS REUNITE FOR A SPECIAL BLOCKBUSTER

The Austrian Oak and Jamie Lee Curtis have the ability to create magic every
time they are in the same room. This is evident by their 1994 thriller
extravaganza that earned $378 Million at the box office and priceless estate in
the hearts of fans. The two further followed this up by locking lips at award
shows. However, they recently reunited for a very special cause. Curtis and
Schwarzenegger attended an After-School All-Stars event for charity.

The True Lies duo, especially Schwarzenegger, have always worked towards the
betterment of society

This is how the two came to reunite at the non-profit event that raises funds in
order to provide education for the underprivileged and needy. Jamie Lee Curtis
herself let fans on this True Lies reunion through a series of selfies.

The Academy Award-winning actress shared pictures of herself rocking a
traditional German dirndl dress with Schwarzenegger. But as excited as fans were
to see them together, it was the caption that stole the show.

JAMIE LEE CURTIS EXPRESSES HER LOVE FOR TRUE LIES CO-STAR

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jamie Lee Curtis, despite garnering unprecedented
success through their on-screen pairing, have surprisingly not done another
movie together. The two continue to remain a part of each other’s lives despite
having done a movie nearly three decades ago. And the caption of Jamie Lee
Curtis’ Instagram post with the Austrian Oak revealed how this was possible.

“I love Arnold,” Curtis wrote in her caption. Despite the unabashed expression
of love and many more smooches in the public eye, Arnold Schwarzenegger and
Jamie Lee Curtis never wound up in a dating scandal. Ever since they first
joined hands on the sets of True Lies, the two have been the epitome of a
perfect friendship.

Meet Aliza Siddiqui, a Hollywood News reporter at Netflix Junkie. Her love affair with Hollywood began with Anne Hathaway and The Princess Diaries, but it was the thrilling climax of Don’t Look Up that cemented her infatuation with the industry and its filmmaking. Aliza's journey into entertainment reporting began with her time at Otakukart, where she wrote over a thousand articles. Her writing style is cheeky and engaging, as seen in her report "Somewhat Alarmed," where she narrates Jimmy Kimmel's hilarious story of how Jason Bateman tricked him into gecko-sitting. Aliza's ultimate dream is to study and critique films that capture her imagination and the attention of movie-goers worldwide. When she is not busy binge-watching Sacha Baron Cohen movies and The Office, she loves to curl up with a weathered copy of a Khaled Hosseini or Indu Sundaresan book.
