Variety has revealed that Disney Branded Television is moving forward with a third Phineas and Ferb movie, slated for release on Disney+ and the Disney Channel. The story takes the duo on a chaotic time-travel adventure after Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s experiment unintentionally erases the moment their parents meet, putting their existence at risk.

To save their brotherly bond, Phineas and Ferb must fix the timeline before it is too late. Returning voice talent for the effort includes Vincent Martella, David Errigo Jr., Ashley Tisdale, Dee Bradley Baker, and more. Series co-creators Dan Povenmire and Jeff Marsh are once again at the helm.

According to Variety, Povenmire and Marsh shared their excitement for the film by saying they have always wanted to craft a story rooted in family and unconditional love but delivered with bold yet timeless comedy.  

“We're grateful to Ayo [Ayo Davis, president of Disney Branded Television] and her team for giving us the runway to expand Danville and take these characters to a whole new level,” they added. A first look at the upcoming title was released alongside the announcement.
