Even at one of the biggest premieres of the year, it turns out Tom Holland and Zendaya's minds were somewhere much simpler: back home with their dogs. According to a post shared by Tom's father, author Dominic Holland, the couple spent much of their time after the Spider-Man: Brand New Day premiere talking not about the film's reception or the night's festivities, but about how badly they were missing their pets. It's a small, cute detail from a night otherwise packed with red carpet glamour, co-star reunions, and the pressure of one of the year's biggest releases, and it is already resonating with fans online.
Between the flashing cameras and the film's massive box office buzz, it turns out the sweetest moment of the night had nothing to do with Spider-Man at all.

Dominic Holland, who has long shared candid, behind-the-scenes glimpses into his son's life on social media, revealed in his personal Substack that after the Los Angeles premiere wrapped, Tom and Zendaya's post-event conversation centered almost entirely on their dogs. Rather than dissecting the reception of the film or reliving the red carpet, the newlyweds reportedly spent much of the time talking about how much they missed their pets and couldn't wait to get home and hug them.

"After the Spider-Man: Brand New Day premiere, Tom Holland and Zendaya talked most about how much they missed their dogs and couldn’t wait to get home and hug them," wrote Holland.
The couple has been open about their love for their pets in the past, even sharing the silly nicknames they use for their dogs at home during a recent press interview. So, missing their furry pack after the premiere is entirely in keeping with the wholesome image fans have come to expect from them.
It's a sweet, grounded detail that lines up with what fans already know about the couple. Tom and Zendaya share three dogs together: Noon, a Miniature Schnauzer originally belonging to Zendaya, Daphne, a Doberman Pinscher, and a pocket bully the pair adopted from a shelter in Oakland earlier this year.
Some things never change
Coming just after Spider-Man: Brand New Day's massive box office debut, the detail offers a refreshingly normal contrast to the scale of the premiere itself. Between record-breaking preview numbers and a red carpet packed with co-stars like Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, and Jon Bernthal, it would have been easy for Tom and Zendaya's night to be all business.

Instead, according to Dominic's account, the couple's real priority once the cameras stopped rolling was getting back to their dogs, a small, relatable moment that fans are eating up amid all the awards-season buzz surrounding the film.
